I Didn't go to Work Today
Published: Tue, 02/27/18
I can't help but think we are getting
softer as a nation. The term 'snowflake'
seems to be more prevalent than ever.
And it seems here in the UK the
snowflakes are panicking as 'The Beast
From The East' has struck.
Which basically means it's snowing.
Yes, we have gave a snowstorm a name.
The way the media is going on you would
think the world was about to end.
People are panic buying bread and milk.
Trains and flights have been cancelled.
IT'S JUST A BIT OF SNOW!
Still, I guess it sells newspapers and
ad slots.
And I suppose I'm being a little
hypocritical as I decided to work
from home today as I didn't want to go
outside.
So I'm writing this email from my home
office, and not my actual office. That
technically means I didn't go to work :-)
And the main topic of this email is
Etsy.
What the heck is Etsy? I hear you say.
Most people are familiar with Etsy as a
rapidly growing marketplace (28.6
million buyers in 2016) that showcases
the handmade creations of a legion of
sellers based all over the world - but
handmade crafts aren’t the only things
you can sell on Etsy..
Etsy also allows the sale of digital
products (think - downloadable
worksheets, craft patterns, printable
art, eBooks, party invitations etc.
etc. as opposed to physical items that
you ship to your buyer).
Marketing experts and seasoned Etsy
sellers Stuart Turnbull and Bart Hennin
have put together a newbie friendly
course that teaches you in an easy to
follow step by step way exactly how to
build and nurture a list of your Etsy
shoppers and buyers (aka “online
marketing GOLD”)
Stuart and Bart take you through the
whole process in an easy to follow step
by step way so that nobody is left
behind, everything from setting up your
free autoresponder, embedding your
opt-in form in your shop and other
sites (think FB etc.) to creating your
PDF catalogs. There are also chapters
covering what to write in your emails
to keep your subscribers interested,
engaged and BUYING based on their
combined email marketing experience of
20 years!
