Most people think waiting costs nothing.
No risk, no decision, no money spent.
Feels safe.
But waiting has a hidden cost, and it shows up later as frustration.
Here is what waiting usually costs you.
First, you lose
position.
The early movers get set up while things are calm.
They see the updates as they happen, they get their account sorted, they remove the little snags that would have slowed them down later.
Then the “I’ll do it later” crowd joins when things are busier, and they wonder why they feel behind from day one.
Second, you lose momentum.
Nothing kills momentum like leaving things half decided.
It sits in the back of your mind, and every day you do
nothing, you train yourself to delay again.
Third, you lose the compounding effect.
Lists do not grow in one day.
Follow up does not pay off in one day.
It builds quietly, then it starts to stack.
But it cannot stack if you never start.
That is why I keep saying this.
Do not wait for perfect timing.
Make a decision, get set up, and let time do its job.

P.S. The most expensive habit in this business is delay. Not because you miss one day, but because “one day” turns into another year.
