John here again, and after the other email earlier today mentioning Horses, I was reminded of a discussion I had with my sales & marketing specialist Randy Smith.

It was a few years ago now, so I'm hoping I don't insult his family by mentioning this.

Oh - First the full Quote:

"You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink!"

How it applied to Randy, was that he worked with me on my program, and has continued to work with me since we started Partnership To Success back at the end of 2010.

He even made the first sale for $5000 over the phone in my office.

This was back before we switched to webinars, or long-form sales pages and way before we had so many success stories, and even before we lowered the price to $3k then $2k, due to my students becoming my best affiliates...

OK, I nearly went on wander down memory lane there.

So the quote.

Randy asked me if I could comp one of his daughter's access to the program, as she couldn't afford the price, but he wanted to help out, being a dad who cared about his family.

He set her up, and gave her some extra one-on-one calls and instruction, along with tips and ideas etc.

However, what he discovered, was that she really didn't like the process, and she didn't want to create a product, launch it with my help, and generally - become an internet marketer.

Imagine.

Everything was handed to her on a plate, and yet she didn't take the action required to move forward with my help.

Which does prove the quote, that 'You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.'

Just like Randy's daughter, the horse will drink when it's good and ready.

And likewise, she eventually did use some of my training, but used it in a different direction, and found her own way to make a living online without becoming an internet marketer.
